Due to overwhelming interest in Visionary Press,  
we are currently only accepting new 
applications from referrals by current members.

We are a community of writers, editors and artists who equally own and profit from our labors here at Visionary Press. We are always open to new members, however, a publishing co-op is not for everyone. You should read through this page carefully before considering a membership with us. If you know this publishing model will work for you, contact one of our members for a referral. If you still have questions about a Visionary Press Cooperative membership, feel free to contact us at any time.

Visionary Press is a true cooperative, 
owned and operated by our members.  

Our members are writers, editors and artists who have the skills to share the day-to-day operations of a business. That means we expect members to help with marketing, accounting, book formatting, etc. on any given day. We do try to keep members extra duties within their preferences. However, around tax time you may be crunching numbers with everyone else who hates math.

Members help members succeed at 
Visionary Press and we are all equal here. 

Some members do lead certain aspects of the business, but ALL members have the final say in how Visionary Press operates. Decisions are made by popular vote, ALL members having one vote.

In addition, ALL members, regardless of our role, are equally compensated for our hard work on a quarterly basis. Yes, that means if you sell more books you are compensated the same as someone selling lesser books.  You'll appreciate this when you are the author selling less books.

Author integrity is a must.

Our authors pledge NOT to deceive readers with false popularity and reviews of the books we publish. As a member you will be expected to market and network according to a code of ethics.

Reciprocity, the practice of exchanging
things with others for mutual benefit.

We believe publishers should work together to achieve their common goal, sell more books to more readers. Our members lead networking events and socialize regularly with non-members. We understand that by promoting others we strengthen our community and mutually benefit our businesses.
